Here's my first-ever blog entry.
I'm getting ready to go off to Malaysia. A mix of fear and excitement. The fears seem, well, reasonable. but I've no doubt I'll be lonely, missing my family and friends.
We just got back from a weekend in Seattle, where Claire's team took their division in the volleyball tournament--nice job ladies! I had a lot of fun with Sophie too--went to the library, to Powell's, and on our date to see "Coraline" on Friday. Went to her basketball game on Saturday--where she fronted and denied this huge girl, keeping her to only 2 points--nice job Soph! And then the train trip up to Seattle together, watching "Madagascar 2" on the laptop. Then on Sunday we went swimming, watch a James Bond movie, and ordered burritos in to the hotel room. We had a great time, and then Claire's team did so well in volleyball. Wow, I had a wonderful weekend!
